Terms of Use
Last updated 1 October 2026
1. Who we are
Out Calories is provided by Levan Bakhia, an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia, Akhmeteli st 10a, Tbilisi, Georgia ([email protected]). By using the app you agree to these terms. If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if anything here conflicts with it, these terms apply to the extent the law allows.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old. Out Calories is meant for healthy adults managing everyday weight, activity and eating habits.
3. What Out Calories is
An app that estimates and measures the calories you burn, tracks food, fasting and weight, and includes an AI coach that logs and explains. It works without an account; your data is stored on your device (see the Privacy Policy).
4. Estimates, not medical advice
Talk to a doctor before changing how you eat or fast if you have a medical condition, take medication (especially for diabetes or blood pressure), are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 18, are underweight, or have ever had an eating disorder. Read Health & safety. Stop and seek medical help if you feel unwell. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
5. Your part
- Enter information as accurately as you can; results depend on it.
- Choose goals and paces that are safe for you. The app's suggestions are not prescriptions.
- Check what the coach logs. Food nutrition comes from public databases and the web, and portion sizes are estimates.
- Don't use the app to harm yourself or anyone else, misuse the AI services, reverse-engineer the app beyond what the law allows, or try to extract its keys or services for other uses.
6. The AI coach and third-party services
AI features are available only after you agree to sending the data described in the Privacy Policy to the AI provider. They depend on third-party services (OpenRouter, Google, USDA, Open Food Facts, Brave Search) that may change, be unavailable or give imperfect answers. We may change, limit or stop AI features.
7. Paid features
Out Calories is free to download. If paid features are offered, they will be sold through Apple's In-App Purchase with the price, period and renewal terms shown before you buy, and you can manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings.
8. Content and ownership
Your data is yours. The app, its design, texts and code belong to us or our licensors. Activity values come from the 2024 Compendium of Physical Activities; food data from USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts (Open Database License), credited in the app.
9. No warranty, and limits of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be error-free or that its estimates are accurate for you, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions about your health, diet or exercise made using the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.
10. Ending
You can stop using the app at any time and delete your data in Settings → Delete all my data. We may stop offering the app or any part of it.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters, the app will tell you before it takes effect.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Disputes go to the courts of Tbilisi, unless the consumer law of your country gives you the right to bring them where you live.
